Who can apply?
In order to apply for unemployment cover you must be:
Aged between 18 and 60
A permanent UK resident
Have been in continuous employment, self employed or paying NI contributions for at least 6 months
Get more from your Unemployment Cover with
Receive benefit payments for between 12 and 24 months
Carer cover is automatically included; this pays out a lump sum if you become a carer
You can claim more than once, provided you have been in employment for 6 months+ since your last claim
A waiver of premium is automatically included meaning your premiums will be covered if you become unable to work. Premiums are reviewable annually unemployment cover, in today’s world unemployment is an everyday worry,
